Jodie oversees the Accommodation department nationally for Sunflower Services, leading the strategic development and operational delivery of Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Individualised Living Options (ILO) across all regions. Jodie is the first point of contact for all of our enquiries, and is dedicated to ensuring timely responses in regards to vacancies, participant matching and ensuring we understand Participant support needs in the referral process.

Hannah has a Certificate IV in Community Services, and has worked previously as a Disability Support Worker, Customer Liaison and Support Coordinator. Tom has more than 10 years of experience volunteering and working with people with disabilities, which further enhances his compassionate approach to support. Always eager to learn, Tom is currently expanding his skills by learning Spanish and Latin dance! Kristen brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for mental health support to her role at Sunflower. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she made the bold move to Australia in 2017, bringing with her a strong sense of community and a lifelong love of tacos (every Friday night, without fail!).
With a background as a Mental Health Peer Worker in SIL homes and as a Team Coordinator in a day centre for people with complex mental health needs, Kristen has seen firsthand the power of connection, creativity, and community. Now, as a Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach, she’s excited to continue empowering people to take the lead in their own journeys—offering support that’s grounded in authenticity, purpose and belonging.

With a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and four years of experience as a Support Worker, Annabel brings both knowledge and compassion to her role. Her time in frontline support sparked a passion for person-centred care and the power of advocacy in helping participants achieve their goals.

Ahmed brings over thirteen years of experience in the disability sector, with a strong foundation in specialist support coordination, recovery coaching, and advocacy. He’s worked across diverse settings—from remote Aboriginal communities in the NPY (Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) lands to metropolitan Adelaide—supporting participants with complex psychosocial and cross-cultural needs.
A passionate advocate for trauma-informed practice and creative therapies, Ahmed sees participants as the experts in their own lives. He’s driven by the opportunity to walk beside them, helping make their journey smoother while learning from their resilience and strength.
Outside of his professional work, Ahmed is an artist and writer whose creative projects often explore place, memory, and community. He’s fluent in Arabic, is currently learning Pitjantjatjara, and once studied cinematography in India—still viewing the world with a filmmaker’s eye. He enjoys travel, connecting across cultures, and spending time with his children. Joining Sunflower Services is an exciting new chapter where Ahmed looks forward to collaborating with a values-led team and contributing to meaningful change.
Sanisha is a dedicated Support Coordinator with strong experience across NDIS, mental health, crisis response and trauma informed practice. She supports participants with complex needs to stabilise, access the right services and feel confident navigating daily life. Her background includes domestic and family violence response, youth and family support, psychosocial disability and aged care.
With a Bachelor of Community Services specialising in child protection, case management, mental health and trauma aware practice, she brings a knowledgeable and empathetic approach to every participant she works with. Mia has worked in the NDIS and human services sector for five years, supporting people from all walks of life with compassion, skill and cultural sensitivity. Her focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, respected and empowered to work towards their NDIS goals. Mia is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, develop new skills and engage in meaningful opportunities that enhance independence and wellbeing.

Her recent government role in Far North Queensland strengthened her cultural safety practice and deepened her ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.
Lauren began her career in the disability and mental health sector in 2007, bringing a wealth of experience across roles including telephone counsellor, support worker, project manager, support facilitator, support coordinator, and manager.
She has worked as a Support Coordinator since the introduction of the NDIS, with over seven years of experience supporting participants across Maitland and Newcastle.
Lauren’s favourite part of the role is meeting people from all walks of life and supporting them to grow, build resilience, and achieve their goals.
Outside of work: Lauren is a mum of two young children and a proud owner of a Whippet. She enjoys coffee, reading (and has been part of a book club for over five years), dance, and creative pursuits. She is also a qualified practitioner of Western Herbal Medicine and has a strong interest in holistic health and wellbeing.
Jean is a passionate Support Coordinator who enjoys supporting participants and their families to navigate their NDIS journey with confidence. She strongly values choice and control, and works closely with individuals to ensure their goals, needs, and aspirations are genuinely heard and supported.
She brings over 10 years of experience working with the Department of Education, supporting children, young people, and their families. This background led her to transition into the disability sector, where she now supports individuals across all stages of life. She loves to travel — having visited 25 countries and called three of them home — and brings that same spirit of curiosity and adaptability to everything she does. Paige holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with a Minor in Justice Studies and has a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable communities, particularly Indigenous Australians.
Paige was a Support Worker with Sunflower Services for several years, prior to being offered her current role as Case Worker! Paige brings a warm, personable approach and a strong understanding of what Participants need to feel supported and empowered.
Naturally organised and structured (a true eldest daughter trait!), Paige creates a calm, reliable presence for the people she works with. Outside of work, she loves getting lost in fantasy novels, trying new cafés, and spending time by the beach.
Paige is excited to walk alongside Participants as they build their capacity and to nurture strong, positive relationships with everyone involved in their support.
Bella is our dedicated Rostering and Recruitment Officer, known for her calm presence, kind approach, and genuine passion for mental health and supporting others. She began her academic journey studying Psychology and Criminology, spending three years exploring the complexities of human behavior and the justice system.
Currently, Bella is pursuing a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management, combining her deep interest in people with a strategic understanding of workplace dynamics. Her academic background, paired with hands-on experience in HR, recruitment, and rostering, allows her to bring both empathy and efficiency to her role.
Bella’s unique blend of psychological insight and business acumen makes her especially skilled at creating supportive, people-focused environments. Her calm demeanor and unwavering dedication ensure that daily operations run smoothly, making her an invaluable part of the team.
Hannah has completed a Certificate IV in Human Resources Management and is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Newcastle. With a keen interest in the mental health field and a passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives, Hannah is an exuberant and motivated addition to the Sunflower Services team.
Hannah brings a warm and concise approach to her role of Recruitment Officer, with a background in support work that gives her unrivalled insight into the exemplary talent hosted and needed at Sunflower. Maddy’s experience allows for valuable insight into the importance of collaboration and an informed approach when working with Participants and Staff alike. Kyah brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for supporting others. Kyah began their journey with Sunflower as a dedicated support worker, building strong, meaningful connections with both participants and team members along the way.
With a background in customer service, Kyah combines excellent communication skills with a high level of organisation, ensuring rostering processes run smoothly and efficiently. Known for being positive and down-to-earth, Kyah creates a supportive and approachable environment for staff and participants alike.
