NDIS occupational therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Our OTs bring more than 30 years of combined experience, with telehealth Australia-wide and face-to-face sessions on the Gold Coast. Delivered by Sunflower Services, a registered NDIS provider.
That’s where occupational therapy starts.
Occupational therapy helps people do the things that matter to them: looking after themselves, managing their home, getting out into the community, learning, working and connecting with others. Our OTs look at how disability affects day-to-day life, then work with you on practical skills, strategies and equipment.
Through the NDIS, OT builds your independence and capacity in ways linked to your goals. It can also give the NDIA the evidence it needs when your plan is reviewed or your needs change.
Every support is tailored to you and linked to your NDIS goals.
A detailed look at how disability affects everyday life, including self-care, moving around, communicating, socialising, learning and managing tasks. Your report explains your strengths and challenges and recommends the supports you need.
Evidence for home and living requests such as Supported Independent Living (SIL), Individualised Living Options (ILO) or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Recommendations are based on your needs and goals, and you always choose your own providers.
We work out which equipment or technology could make daily tasks safer and easier. Where needed, we trial options with you and write recommendations the NDIA can consider.
We look at how you move around and use your home, identifying risks such as falls. We then recommend practical solutions, from equipment and new ways of doing tasks to home modifications.
Clear, thorough reports linking your day-to-day needs to your goals and the supports requested. We explain them in plain language too.
Tailored sessions to build daily living skills and routines, regulation strategies, play and fine motor skills for children, and confidence for community, study or work. Includes coaching for families, carers and support workers.
Our Occupational Therapists are AHPRA registered and work hand in hand with our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, Support Coordinators and support workers. Together they bring more than 30 years of combined experience.
